2018 in Review
RE/MAX Southern Shores has had an amazing year in real estate. Our agents in Conway, Garden City, Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach have seen tremendous growth and success in 2018 and only expect that momentum to continue into the new year.
Our goal for 2018 is $475,000,000 in closed production and 2,435 transactions with an average sales price of $195,000. To date, we have closed over 2,199 transactions for $474,379,518 with an average sales price of $215,725. Our fingers are definitely crossed that we will not only reach, but surpass our goal!
In 2017, we closed 2,117 transactions with an average sales price of $199,033 for an amazing $421,352,146. Therefore, we have already closed more in 2018 than we did in 2017 and we still have the remainder of December to account for. If we meet our goal, we will increase our volume by over 12 percent.
Our agents are proud supporters of the Children’s Miracle Network and have donated over $38,000 this year. All of the money raised goes to our local Children’s Hospital at McLeod Health in Florence, South Carolina. Not only does a portion of all sales transactions go toward CMN, but we’ve hosted numerous fundraising events and lunches throughout the year to help raise money and awareness for this amazing cause.
Our agents and staff have been very busy getting into the holiday spirit and participating in different festivals and parades along the Grand Strand. From the Surfside Beach Fall Festival and Christmas Parade to the Conway and North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parades, the RE/MAX balloon was proudly showcased to thousands of locals and visitors alike.
In 2018, we opened our brand new office in Conway. The office is right in the heart of downtown Conway by City Hall. If you haven’t stopped by to take a look, please do so! We are happy to continue to serve Conway and surrounding areas from this new location.
In 2019, we will open an office in Carolina Forest - a new location for our brokerage. We are currently working on the details as to where our new Myrtle Beach location will be, so stay tuned for that. We will continue on our Momentum path, offering many lead generation, lead conversion and activities management classes that allow our agents to continue to learn and grow their businesses. We will continue with our accountability groups, which have seen great success this year. RE/MAX Southern Shores will also continue to offer client appreciation gifts and events to show our love and gratitude to the amazing clients and partners that help us achieve our goals and really make what we do all worth it.
